The mandate of the Global Communications & Technology (GCT) sector is to design and activate communication protocols and systems that allow apostolic leadership to bring maximum sight, coherence and productivity to the advance of the Congress. GCT is responsible for utilising technology to create and maintain the communications and information management systems to capture apostolic vision and maximise its flow towards and throughout the Congress. In this regard, the GCT facilitates the construction of Congress mentalities and perspectives necessary for “friction-less” corporate advance.
The compelling prophetic image for GCT operations is the human nervous system. The nervous system is a complex, intricate internal highway that allows for the efficient transmission of information to and from the brain and the rest of the body. The brain is the centre of the nervous system and does not only send information but depends on the collection of information from all parts to coordinate the movement of the entire body.
"The strategic use of technology obliterates the limitations of our immediate context and opens up a world of borderless possibilities."
Dr. Noel Woodroffe
